About Me
Tali Autovino has spent her tenth grade year working hard and staying invested in her future. She remains 5'5 but yet her personality and interests continue to grow. While staying focused on schoolwork she found time this year to participate in Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls as an extracurricular. For nearly eight months she was the drummer in a band that was created through Willie Mae, meeting tons of friends along the way. Her position as a drummer is only part of what she wants to do with her life. She plans on going to a music-oriented college and focus heavily on vocals and guitar. Whenever she is not recording in Garageband, she is reading music biographies/auto-biographies. Her love for music motivates her enough to excel in school so she can pursue her dream in later years.
Apart from music, Tali has worked her butt off this year when it came to subjects like ISM and Humanities. Science nor math have ever been her strong points, but she believes that it is still important to try and make them some. However, two of her assignments she is most proud of were done in Humanities. One of them is her panel discussion written statement and the other is her Lord of the Flies essay. Both reflect her interest in controversial topics as well as writing in general.
Although the year has brought many challenges and hardships, it has also grown her a thicker skin and broadened her range of knowledge. The harder she works, the more she grows as an individual and intellectual.
